Robert Half are working with a meaningful organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services, seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join them for a 6-month contract (with potential for extension). The Role: You will play a key role in supporting financial management during a transitional period, working closely with the leadership team. The focus is on maintaining financial control, delivering insightful reports, and driving the transition to improved digital finance systems. Location: Bristol
Salary: 55k-60k
Duration: 6 months
Start date: ASAP (within the next 2-3 weeks)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day financial management and ensure robust financial governance.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cash flow.
- Provide detailed, timely financial reports and support strategic decision-making.
- Guide the team through the implementation of a new digital finance system.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Mentor and collaborate with the finance team, fostering their development.
Who You Are:
- Experienced Financial Controller, ideally from healthcare or a similar service-oriented industry.
- Skilled in financial reporting, compliance, and systems transformation.
- Either Qualified by extensive experience or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who brings experience and a collaborative spirit.
- Passionate about making a positive impact, not just on the bottom line, but in the community.
