Are you a Management Accountant looking for new role Are you a confident accounts professional capable of supporting an FC to produce Management Accounts and reports in a fast paced group manufacturing setting Are you looking for a challenging role in a well-established business within a group operation supporting a network of manufacturersKingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Management Accountant to support the activity of an outstanding manufacturing group. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working closely with a Financial Controller and be capable of helping to produce management accounts, reports and coordinating business controls in a production or technical organisation.This opportunity would suit someone qualified by experience or just starting on their route to qualification. Its a great opportunity to work closely with the senior team, develop your skills and have access to future career opportunities around the business.Your role will involve:

  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts, forecasts and budgets for a few companies
  • Assist in the consolidation of forecasts provided by each of the Group companies, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
  • Collation of Group companies reports and preparation of key daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Group:

- daily sales report- weekly aged debtors and creditors- weekly electricity usage charts- monthly employee KPIs- monthly working capital KPIs- monthly supplier performance- monthly debit notes (PL) register- monthly credit notes (SL) register- quarterly top 10 customers and suppliers

  • Assisting with oversight of HMRC and supplier payments across the Group ensuring each company pays on time
  • Management of company Barclaycards across the Group:

- maintain a register of all card holders detailing credit limits- administration of new card applications and cancellation of cards for leavers- credit limits

  • Reconciliation of inter-company balances as part of the month end close/reporting cycle ensuring each company is compliant with the Group rules re inter-company balance agreement, disputes are resolved and settlement by the end of the following month
  • Assisting with oversight of the Group bank accounts, data entry to forecast templates, monitoring balances vs forecasts to ensure the Group overdraft facility is not at risk of being exceeded
