Position:Management Accountant

Reports to:Company Owner

Salary:Up to £40,000

Work Model:Monday - Friday (Two days WFH negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Accounts & Reporting:
  • Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
  • Prepare management accounts with commentary for client presentation.
  • Discuss financial performance with clients, comparing against budgets and growth plans.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review pricing strategies.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Process supplier payments and ensure accurate reconciliation.
  • Support bookkeeping in purchase ledger processing and review AP ledgers.
  • Debtors & AR Management:
  • Ensure efficient invoicing and collection processes.
  • Supervise credit control and provide client feedback.
  • Data Processing & Internal Control:
  • Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
  • Manage client communications and deadlines.
  • Review and prepare VAT returns.
  • Supervise payroll processing.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Follow company policies and build client relationships.
  • Engage and motivate team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information.

Qualifications:

  • Part of Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a similar capacity
  • Practice experience or working in a marketing agency is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
