Management Accountant

Bristol (100% onsite requirement whilst training then 60% onsite as a minimum onwards)

6-9 Month Contract

We are looking for someone who has CIMA qualification or have a minimum of 5 years working from a manufacturing or commercial environment

Certain Advantage are working with a large Aerospace company who are actively seeking a Management Accountant on a Sub-Contract basic until the end of 2025

  • Looking for a strong communicator as they will be liaising externally with clients as well as interacting between different sites
  • Complex role that requires someone who can use their own initiative and to work autonomously
  • Candidate needs to have experience in business partnering i.e. budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Commercially focused role
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools

Main Responsibilities include

  • Supporting of the central controlling teams, drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units, ensuring robust financial planning and consistency with company financial objectives
  • Contribute, working closely with the local business / operational managers, in defining / proposing the list of improvement projects eligible for inclusion in the budget assumption pack for the business units, validating the relevant financial information (sizing, business case & ROI) for decision making
  • Participate in the assessment of business cases / proposals for operational investments and performance improvement projects, ensuring robust challenge of assumptions and financial evaluations.
