Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a global business on the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join the team. Our client is a multi-discipline organisation, with ambitious growth plans on the horizon and are delighted to be adding to their team with this hire.

This position will closely support a Finance Manager, across multiple businesses therefore this role would suit an ambitious individual, who is keen to progress quickly as well as work autonomously and part of a small team.

Our client is based in the Hotwells area of Bristol and adopt a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing all supplier invoices, ensuring they contain valid PO numbers, and are processed and approved promptly.
  • Weekly posting of all bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts.
  • Managing all credit card reconciliations.
  • Liaising with all suppliers to resolve queries as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial processes, compliance and company guidelines.
  • Chasing overdue debt and preparing weekly debtors and creditors reports.
  • Supporting with approval and processing of employee expense claims.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required.

Your Profile:

  • Ideally, you will be fully AAT qualified, or part CIMA/ACCA qualified and keen to continue your professional studies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, from an industry background.
  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position, ideally having worked in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exposure to SAGE is highly desirable.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £30-38k dependant on experience plus benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, pension, study support and more.
