Background –
Menlo Park are working with a very highly regarded and genuinely forward thinking GP surgery, looking to add a Lead Nurse to lead the nursing and HCA team. The practice requires someone with a Practice Nurse background ideally with experience managing a small team and confident in both routine Practice Nurse responsibilities and a background with Diabetes ideally. They would also consider someone with a strong Practice Nursing background looking to take a step up into a Lead position. There would be a mixture of clinical workload and management, representing the nursing team in meetings etc, appraisals, performance management, etc. This is a superb opportunity to join a very well-established and respected team in a great location that is very supportive regarding the progression and development of all staff members.
Salary – £39,000 - £48,500 per annum DOE (£20 - £25 per hour DOE)+ NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays + Indemnity

Your role –
- Need experience as a Practice Nurse as well as experience managing a small team ideally
- Ideally full time but open to as low as 30 hours per week
- Benefit from a very close-knit team around you
- Be experienced with the routine practice nurse duties and experience with Diabetes
- Lead the nursing team and represent the team in meetings, etc
- Work closely with managers and partners to ensure delivery of high quality care
- No home visits
