VACANCY - COPYWRITER AND SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

ESS Employment are seeking an experienced Copywriter and Social Media Executive to work for an established local company. The successful candidate will produce high quality, SEO-optimised content for blogs and digital platforms, and create engaging social media content. As a key member of the marketing team, you will collaborate with the in-house graphic designer and SEO strategist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create PR articles and blogs for both online and print, focusing on the home and garden improvement sectors.
  • Provide advice on content suitability and strategic PR.
  • Use SEO best practices to integrate keywords into digital content.
  • Add blogs and articles to our website using the CMS system.
  • Produce monthly social media content (paid and organic) in collaboration with the graphic designer.
  • Monitor social media interactions and respond to comments as needed.
  • Research and reach out to potential influencers for project collaborations.
  • Work with the team to create campaigns that drive results.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in creative writing, social media management, and SEO/keyword integration.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with audiences.
  • A creative, self-driven individual with excellent organisational skills.
  • Passion for social media and its strategic potential.
  • Knowledge of creative tools and apps for content creation.
  • Proven success in delivering results in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in PR (agency or in-house).
  • A full, clean driving license with access to a car.
