Chiller Engineer

Our client, a global Facilities Management and Building Services organisation, has established strong roots in numerous major blue-chip contracts. They offer significant opportunities for career progression and personal development, supported by a highly experienced technical training team.

They are looking for several Chiller / AC Engineers at all levels to cover the Bristol/South West area on a mobile basis. The successful candidate will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across several site locations. As the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites, your role will involve carrying out technical repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs). You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. All work must be completed to the highest standards efficiently and cost-effectively, while complying with the company Health and Safety policy.

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks across multiple site locations.
• Technical Repairs and PPMs: Conduct technical repairs and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal operation of systems.
• Compliance: Ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up-to-date.
• Standards: Complete all work to the highest standards, adhering to company guidelines.
• Health and Safety: Comply with the company's Health and Safety policies.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a retail or commercial environment.
• Qualifications
  • NVQ/C&G Level 2 or 3
  • 3 years’ + experience
  • Water/commercial Chiller experience
  • Commissioning experience advantageous
  • Clean Driving licence
  • Willing to travel
  • DBS check for all engineers
  • Must be computer literate and able to utilise a tablet
  • Experience of working with split, VRV & VRF systems
  • Great attitude, willingness to learn and develop
  • Fault finding experience

• Driving License: Full UK Driving License.

• Salary: £40k- £50k Per Annum (OTE £57k)
• On Call: On call every 1 in 4 weeks.
