My client, a successful, well-established civil and structural design consultancy is actively seeking an experienced, competent Associate Civil Engineer to join and lead a vibrant team based in Bristol. The chosen candidate will be a Chartered Engineer who has the ability to grow the existing infrastructure design capabilities from the busy Bristol office. The successful candidate will oversee significant projects from conceptual planning through to completion. My client is offering a very healthy starting salary plus flexible benefits to suit candidate lifestyle.

In order to be considered for this Associate Civil Engineer role you will;

-Have a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering and be Chartered (MICE)
-Strong and demonstrable business development capability
-First class highway design and specification, detailed drainage and attenuation design, chairing client and consultation project meetings and reporting skills
-Experience of working across a broad range of clients, local authorities and private land developers
-Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers
-Substantial experience in consultation, negotiations and meetings with third party authorities

Working as an Associate Civil Engineer you will;
-Make a major contribution to the business plan
-Undertake business development to enhance and grow the team
-Mentor and guide junior members of the team
-Oversee significant projects
-Manage client needs
-Check work of others
