The Job:

Our client is seeking a Legal Accounts Administrator. This is a full time role based in their Clifton office and is 100% office based. Reporting into their Accounts Manager and working in a small but busy team, this role is perfect for someone with an interest in working in an office based administration role with a focus on revenue and finance. Training will be provided.

The key responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Setting up payments on the banking system
  • Ledger postings for receipts, payments, transfers, journals and bills
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Banking of cheques
  • Stopping cheques
  • Review of ledgers to ensure that balances are dealt with in a timely way
  • Liaising with solicitors and support staff in relation to accounting transactions, ensuring that Solicitors’ Rules are fully adhered to
  • Dealing with telephone and email queries from within the business
  • Covering Reception when required, taking calls from clients and suppliers and transferring them to the appropriate contact

The Person:

For this role our client is seeking someone who willing to learn and committed to work in an office based administration role where you will have a good eye for detail and able to produce accurate work often with a deadline. Full training will be provided and they are looking for someone who is self-motivated, bright and willing to learn. You will need to be computer literate, have attention to detail and be a good team player. They are looking for someone who is friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
