We are seeking a methodical and organised Purchase Ledger to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be computer literate with previous experience in accounts processing. This office-based position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys process-driven work and is looking for a stable role within a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Entering purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
- Printing, coding, and logging email invoices, ensuring they are signed off by the appropriate authority.
- Reconciling invoices against supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Managing monthly invoices from select clients, matching them against job numbers to ensure correct billing.
- Utilising accounting software, with a preference for those experienced in Sage, although this is not essential.
- Contributing to the smooth operation of the accounts department by adhering to established processes and procedures.
- Proven experience in an Transactional Finance / Purchase Ledger role or similar.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using accounting software.
- Methodical and organised approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Sage is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive annual salary of £27,000.
