The Role:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a Senior Finance Administrator. In this role you will be responsible formanaging financial transactions, coordinating warranty activity, credit control, building relationships with stakeholders, and providing support for finance projects aimed at enhancing our overall efficiency. Additionally, you will lead and develop a Finance Administrator, overseeing their work to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Manage Financial Transactions: Conduct daily bank postings and reconciliations, maintaining precise records.
- Warranty Coordination: Working closely with colleagues to manage customer account activity related to warranty claims.
- Credit Control: Managing customer and vehicle accounts to achieve targets and meeting deadlines.
- Assist in Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Support in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Management Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of management accounts, providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
- Lead and Develop the Finance Administrator: Provide guidance, support and coaching to the Finance Administrator to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. Assume responsibility of the Finance Administrator duties when necessary, ensuring continuity and the smooth operation of the finance function.
- Establishing Relationships: Building strong working relationships with both customers and suppliers.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- GCSE minimum grade C in Maths and English.
- A Level or similar accountancy qualification would be advantageous.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An organised and proactive approach with autonomous workload management capabilities.
- Prior familiarity with accounting software or similar would be advantageous.
The Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

£35,000
