Production Support/Warehouse & Despatch

MDE Consultants are recruiting for our prestigious client based in Brislington, our client is a lead in the welding and fabrication industry. We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic, hard-working team player that is interested progressing and keeping the team on the move.

Location: Brislington, Bristol

Salary: £12.23 per hour (£13.29 including shift allowance)

Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Rotating every 2 weeks (includes £40 per week shift allowance)

  • Shift 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
  • Shift 2: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (Monday -Thursday) & 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM (Friday)

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for working in the Goods-in, Despatch, and Warehouse departments. This role involves a variety of tasks including:

  • Moving materials to storage areas
  • Picking, packing, and despatching orders
  • Booking in stock and ensuring accurate stock control
  • Keeping the yard organised, tidy, and safe
  • Light assembly work
  • Ensuring health & safety measures are followed

This is an active and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment.

Skills & Requirement

  • Attention to detail to identify quality/stock issues
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Willingness to work outdoors and carry out manual labour
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
