School caretaker, full time, asap start or in the new year

Zen Educate would like to appoint someone to take on a full time role as a school caretaker for what will be a contract basis, but for the right person will also likely go permanent. We are looking for someone that has previous experience working as a caretaker to join this great team at a special needs school in Bristol around the Fishponds area. Working hours are 8-4 Monday to Friday.

The role of the caretaker is to ensure that the school is kept in good working order. This means undertaking any minor repair works needed around the buildings. Up keeping school heating and boilers and ensuring the school is kept clean and hygenic for both students and staff.

Requirements;

- Experience in working as a caretaker either in a school or some other alternative

- Able to complete manual work around the school as and when required

- Ensure the school is safe for all at all times

- Have strong communication and work with other members of staff in the school and respond to any issues that may arise or be reported

- A can do attitude and work with any outside services should it be required for more major repairs
