Reed have partnered with a with a global business to recruit an entry-level Business Development Assistant in Portishead, North Somerset, on a part time, permanent basis.

The position will initially be 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, working 9 am – 5pm, with plans to increase to 4 days as the role grows.

Please note, whilst based in Portishead currently, there are plans in 2 years or so for a future office relocation to Weston-super-Mare.

Duties:

  • Assist in collecting potential client information for new and re-audits, including contacting clients pre and post audits.
  • Prepare proposals (assisted by an auditor) and follow up on these proposals.
  • Plan audit dates for ACT full-time auditors.
  • Collect client feedback and action any client requests.
  • Maintain records of enquiries and contracts.
  • Assist in the development of internal management systems for new schemes.
  • Assist in the completion of ACT full-time auditor reports.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Operate the change request system.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both over the telephone and via email.
  • Strong typing skills, both fast and accurate.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Training on all aspects involved in the role will be provided.

  • Workplace pension (Company pays 3%, individual pays 5%).
  • Paid Bank Holidays and public holidays when they fall on working days (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days holiday pro rata based on 3 days per week (15 days total).
