The salary for this role is 35,000 + Company Van.
Responsibilities of the Area Manager role:
- Compiling Building Contracts alongside Development Agreements
- Preparation of tender documentation for submission to contractors, analysis of tender returns and reporting
- To support Senior Surveying staff members in the delivery of Project Manager & Employer's Agent instructions
- Preparation of Specification, preliminary documents and Employers Requirements/design briefs
- Promote the consultancy services to potential clients and stakeholders
- Chairing Meetings and preparation of Meeting Minutes, planning and records
Skills needed for the Area Manager role:
- Possess a strong understanding of JCT building contracts and construction processes
- Strong focus on understanding and meeting client needs, and to build and maintain professional relationships
- A robust understanding of construction techniques and processes for quality and efficiency in project delivery
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contracts, reports, and project documentation
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project) and have a willingness to learn Workbench
- Experience in preparing detailed specifications, employer's requirements, tender documents, and reports
