We are looking for a skilled, punctual and hard working sous chef to join our vibrant kitchen team in preparing delicious meals for our guests.
The successful candidate will assist in food preparation and contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
- Ensure food safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes promptly
Experience:
- Proven experience as a chef de partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
