A high-growth National Accounting Firm is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic and successful National Business Development team. You will provide Lead generation, Sales support, and Account Management services to both the Bristol and Exeter offices. You will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience), uncapped commission and lots of opportunities for career progression.The hybrid role will involve working predominantly from home, with travel to Bristol / Exeter offices approx. 1-2 days a week The role will involve occasional visits to clients, attending Business and Networking events and a National Team Meeting in The West Midlands once a month. You will support the Senior Leaders in growing fee income for the Bristol and Exeter offices, with both existing and new clients.Sector specific training will be provided, so we do not expect you to have prior knowledge of Accountancy and related services. We do however require someone who is an experienced salesperson, with confidence in cold calling and pipeline management.As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting appointments for the partners with new prospective clients.
  • Supporting your office with managing their sales pipeline.
  • Attending meetings with prospective clients.
  • Managing the tender/quote process.
  • Actively engaging existing clients in campaigns to upsell additional services.
  • Attending events and exhibitions to represent the firm.
  • Reporting and record keeping.
  • Using social media to build the brand. 
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with the following:
  • Experience in sales, specifically phone sales and lead generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and familiarity with using a CRM.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence in attending networking events. 
  • Current UK driving licence.
