A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join a well-established Publishing and Events company based near Berkshire. The role has a focus on regional sales covering the South West area, however it offers the ability to work from home with occasional visits to the office or to local client sites. In the role of Sales Executive, you will report to a more experienced Sales Manager and you’ll be at the forefront of our growth for this region, building your own pipeline and client base. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and be able to build relationships quickly. There is excellent earning potential and the flexibility of a home-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively making outbound calls and identifying new business opportunities
  • Building a pipeline of new business clients
  • Identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Providing accurate quotations
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Attending client sites for face to face meetings
  • Dealing with any customer queries
  • Maintaining accurate information on the CRM

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, "can do" attitude
  • Previous sales experience with a focus on new business (a Graduate with a sales focus to their CV may also be considered)
  • Great telephone skills, with previous experience in outbound calling
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Able to build rapport quickly
  • License and own transport
