Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Our well-established nursery in Portishead is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
- Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS regulations.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
- Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping and health & safety policies.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach.
- A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
