Business Development Director - Central Government - up to £100,000 + benefits

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Management Consultancy to assist in their recruitment of Director of Business Development to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role Summary:

  • Lead on sector growth, hitting financial targets, commercial management of customers and customer satisfaction
  • Manage customer & partner activity and bid related activity for the central government sector
  • Work with Directors to manage business and financial targets
  • Provide direction for resourcing & recruitment requirements for the central government sector
  • Manage sales, finance and business reporting in line with company procedures
  • Commercial management of customer contracts
  • Enable a cohesive working environment and provide direction of travel from the sector, aligned with company strategy

Core Skills:

  • Experience of working with Defra, DWP, HMRC, etc.
  • Accountable on identification of new business in sector
  • DDaT knowledge across central government (public sector), deep understanding what prospective clients are buying
  • Makes decision on which bids will be considered strategic and working collaboratively with strategic bid lead
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively
