Abatec are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator (Trainee considered) to join our client's team in the Yatton/Clevedon area. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with overtime available.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment., working with production equipment or some engineering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating CNC machines to carry out cutting, drilling, milling, and other machining tasks
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Conducting quality checks on finished products
  • Maintaining and cleaning CNC machinery

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical / engineering knowledge and experience using hand tools (advantageous)
  • Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in the assembly process.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers (beneficial but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
