CNC Machinist & Programmer

Location:  Bristol

Position: Permanent, various / flexible shifts available

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. If you are passionate about precision manufacturing and have a deep understanding of CNC machinery and programming, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities for CNC Programmer:

  • Individually program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce aluminium parts
  • Develop CNC programs from technical drawings and specifications
  • Perform tool offsets and other machine adjustments to ensure proper fit and finish of parts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, adjusting programs as necessary
  • Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and perform routine maintenance
  • Work closely with the team to ensure production timelines are met

You must:

  • Be proficient in using Fusion 360 programming software
  • Have worked within a similar manufacturing / engineering environment with CNC machinery
  • Be able to independently programme and operate 3-axis & 5 axis CNC Hurco Mills
  • Be able to read technical drawings
  • Have attention to detail, and focus on accuracy
