Caretaker Supervisor
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
Contract: Permanent
We're looking for a Caretaking Supervisor to join a well-established facilities management team supporting a group of schools in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to oversee premises services, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment while leading a dedicated on-site team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage premises support services, ensuring all maintenance and caretaking duties are carried out effectively.
- Work alongside Lead Engineers to complete both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety legislation.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance in line with contract agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support and develop direct reports, including performance management and annual reviews.
- Monitor premises team output, ensuring cleanliness standards are upheld and damages are reported efficiently.
- Oversee stock control and procurement, maintaining budgets while ensuring sufficient supplies.
- Report key operational data, including health, safety, environmental, and personnel information.
- Supervise contractor activities on-site in collaboration with Premises Assistants.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in facilities management (FM) service delivery
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification (preferred)
- Experience with building maintenance systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Proven experience in delivering works on time and within budget
- Knowledge of Concept CAFM systems (preferred)
