Techniche Global is seeking a Senior Project Controller for an engineering defence contractor, offering a salary of up to £52,000 annually plus company benefits.
The position is located in Bristol or Corsham with hybrid working arrangements and is a permanent, full-time role.
Candidates must be eligible for DV Clearance, with current security clearance being highly advantageous.
The Senior Project Controller will manage project control aspects within major defence programmes, including schedule updates, cost forecasting, and performance evaluation.
Essential experience includes a background in project management and controls, with considerable experience in advanced project management techniques and previous work on complex defence or engineering projects.

You will be responsible toSalary: up to £52,000k annual + company benefits Location: Bristol or Corsham + Hybrid Working Arrangements Duration: perm / full-timeRequirements: Eligible for DV Clearance (Sole British Nationals) Current security clearance would be highly advantageous.As a Senior Project Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the project controls aspects within major defence programmes, from initiation to completion. This includes the development and implementation of schedule updates, cost forecasting and cost variance analysis and performance evaluation, to ensure that the project remains on track financially against the approved budget and schedule.Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate closely with programme teams to develop cost and schedule estimates and forecasts, identifying potential risks and variance that may impact the Estimate to Complete (ETC).

Prepare and deliver all necessary internal and external project control reports and documentation
Maintain the integrated master schedule and advised on critical paths and advise on schedule issues.
Provide key input into the production and management of Control Account Plans, including establishing basis of estimates and cost related assumptions and dependencies
Collate, organise, and present the necessary data to enable Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
Provide the necessary input to enable Cost Risk Analysis (CRA)
Coordinate and develop project/programme spend projections, cost reconciliations and variance analysis
Coordinate and develop project work-in-progress (WIP), commitment and estimate at complete (EAC) forecasts

Essential experience of the Senior Project Controller

Background in project management and project controls;
Considerable experience in the advanced application of Project Management techniques across the full project lifecycle
Previous experience on complex defence and/or engineering projects/programmes - desirable
Experience in the application of SRA/CRA and EVM
