Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Defence Land Safety Consultant to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting Defence Land Safety management programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and produce Safety Case Reports.
Conduct Hazard Identification analyses (HAZOP, SWIFT).
Undertake Legislation Compliance Assessments.
Perform Risk Assessments and Hazard Sentencing.
Implement and manage Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Safety Management Plans (SMP).
Develop Safety Requirements and support Engineering Teams in Requirement Substantiation.
Manage projects effectively.
Build strong client relationships through business development and liaison activities.
Represent the company at client meetings and industry events.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
Contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in Defence Land Safety management.
Strong understanding of safety legislation and regulations.
Proficiency in hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within the UK and potentially abroad.
Ability to achieve UK MOD Security clearance is essential.
