What is The Job Doing:
As a Mechanical Projects Manager, you'll be at the heart of the action:
- Take charge of projects from the moment a tender is won through to completion and final account.
- Oversee two live projects at any one time, each averaging a value of around 2 million.
- Manage procurement processes and maintain strong relationships with long-standing subcontractors.
- Lead and manage the site team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- While the primary focus is on the mechanical side, some responsibility for the electrical aspects will also be required.
- Projects are UK-wide, often along the M4 corridor, with occasional fully expensed overnight stays.
What Experience Do I Need
To thrive as a Mechanical Projects Manager, you should have:
- Proven experience in managing mechanical projects.
- Strong procurement skills and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
- Experience in leading site teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
