Job Title: Probate Fee Earner
Salary: Up to circa 40K
Location: South Bristol. Hybrid available, office based is preferred.
Hours: Full time.
Overview
This established high street firm located outside of Bristol City Centre has a long-standing history and has expanded to multiple locations across the South West. They are currently looking for a Probate Fee Earner to join their busy department. This is a hire to expand, not replace.
Responsibilities:
* Assist clients in managing the affairs of deceased relatives or friends with care and sensitivity.
* Ascertain the extent and value of the estate's assets.
* Address tax-related issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Obtain necessary legal documents, such as Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration, based on the presence of a Will.
* Collect assets and settle any outstanding debts from the estate.
* Distribute the estate according to the Will or in accordance with Intestacy Rules.
* Establish trusts as specified in the Will or by Intestacy provisions.
* Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of progress throughout the process.
Required experience:
* Experienced Fee earner or solicitor within private client.
