Credit Controller

We’re excited to be recruiting for a proactive and organised Credit Controller!

Our client is an award-winning international law firm, and they are looking to welcome a Credit Controller to their busy team. You will be providing front-line support to ensure compliance with cash collection processes and reduce the level of debtors.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing routine and ad hoc credit control solutions
  • Identifying and developing key client contacts necessary to secure recovery
  • Undertaking proactive regular reviews and chasing of outstanding debts
  • Producing debtor analysis for key clients and partners
  • Liaising with partners and client leads to advice of any issues
  • Supporting lawyers with reconciliations and other ad hoc debtor analysis
  • Identifying any problem debts and ensuring compliance with escalation policy
  • Meeting monthly cash collection and aging targets
  • Adhering to internal credit control procedures
  • Supporting the internal review of policies and know-how for capturing market information

Required skills and experience:

  • At least 2 years of credit control experience in legal or insurance sector
  • Knowledge of financial controls and SARs
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Aderant and ARCS (or similar) is ideal
