We are on the lookout for a dynamic and compassionate Credit Controller to become an integral part of their flourishing team.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Responsible for cash collections across 20 billing teams.
  • Manage allocated ledger and associated client accounts, applying skill and judgement to maximise collection efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base, from private individuals to international corporations and public sector organisations.
  • Collaborate closely with fee earners to resolve outstanding accounts and agree on payment terms when necessary.
  • Refer accounts to debt recovery litigators as agreed with the Credit Control Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in credit control within a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, and formula use.
  • Experience with 3E package or similar credit control case management systems is beneficial (training provided).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of human behaviour and the ability to act tactfully and professionally.
