Credit Controller

Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a highly acquisitive and progressive business based in Bristol to recruit a Credit Controller to report to the Credit Control Manager.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong customer service experience looking to take the next step in their career and transition into the finance sector. The role offers a chance to build on existing skills while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role will naturally have a broad range of responsibilities and will support the Credit Control manager in helping the business through its next stage of growth.

About you

You will have strong communication skills and be confident in speaking to clients over the phone. You will have a strong background in operating within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, taking pride in the quality of your work. You will be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Follow end-to-end credit control processes
• Maintain and update clients’ accounts with BACS statements, remittance advice and credit card receipts
• Issue statements to customers and internal departments
• Update cashbook and post to the system daily for UK & US payments
• Complete credit searches on new credit applications received
• Provide invoices and reports for the sales department and clients
• Issue month-end invoicing

• A salary level of up to £25,000
