Reed Accountancy are thrilled to be supporting a leading business based in Yatton, with their search for a Credit Controller.
The role involves monitoring and managing customer credit limits, ensuring timely payments, and minimising risk. This position is ideal for someone with a background in credit control, looking for a new challenge in a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Monitor and manage customer credit limits to ensure timely payment and minimise risk.
- Review and analyse customer accounts to identify overdue payments and outstanding balances.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to facilitate timely payment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and collection efforts.
- Experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain positive relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
