Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our esteemed client, a major player in the sphere, as an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Data Analyst based in Bristol, UK. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting carbon reporting obligations, including Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions. Responsibilities will cover compliance with Carbon Reduction Plans (CRP), the Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), and UK & EU Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS), alongside other environmental metrics. This position offers a hybrid working model, with a combination of home-based work and attendance at the Bristol office.

Role Overview:
The EHS Data Analyst will focus on advancing the use of software to enhance data recording and analytics, developing robust reporting procedures, and conducting compliance audits. The role requires regular communication with a range of stakeholders to gather and manage data, while also providing general support to the Environmental, Health and Safety team. The individual will collaborate with global colleagues to align with Boeings wider environmental strategy, and will play a key role in reporting metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report on Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon and energy data to fulfil UK and Enterprise reporting obligations, including SECR, ESOS, CRP, and UK & EU ETS.
  • Enhance data recording processes and analytics.
  • Implement effective reporting procedures and audit protocols.
  • Collect and manage environmental data, creating reportable program metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communicate with UK leadership and broader stakeholders.
  • Produce and approve regulatory reports and permit applications for UK and EU compliance.
  • Maintain EHS performance metrics and support UK/global sustainability strategies.
  • Assist the wider EHS team with ISO 14001 and 45001 activities, such as audits, incident response, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage environmental compliance requirements and identify regulatory risks.
  • Oversee the UK/EU regulatory compliance calendar, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Liaise with site programs and organisations to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety, environmental studies, data analytics, or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analytics software.
  • Experience in carbon reporting or data analytics is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear procedures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
