Data Verifier- Bristol - 3 months - End of October start

Its aim is to ensure that every student, whatever their background, has a fulfilling experience of higher education that enriches their lives and careers. It does so by regulating the higher education providers on its register to make sure they are delivering high quality courses and positive outcomes for their students; where they are not, it takes action.

The Opportunity:

The Data Verifier will have a key part to play in translating data from Higher Education organisations and highlighting any anomalies and ensuring details submitted are accurate.

Working as part of a team and supported by experienced members of staff this provides a crucial function to understanding the state of play within Higher Education in England.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking Data and raising appropriate queries
  • Checking credibility of responses to queries
  • Engaging when required with institutions
  • Ensuring data is signed off correctly

Essential Requirements:

  • An eye for detail
  • Familiarity with data and ability to to manipulate numerical data accurately
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel
  • Good communication both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently
