Your new schoolYour new primary school located in South Gloucestershire is looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant. A full-time job to support alongside the class teacher is available where you will provide focused learning and plan and lead stimulating activities based around the EYFS.Your new roleAs an Early Years TA, you will be a dedicated support recording progress of the pupils and liaising with parents and ensuring the children's health and safety at all times. Knowledge of working with the EYFS curriculum is essential due to the age ranges of the pupils you will be supporting. An enthusiastic and caring manner is necessary to support the pupils in their transition in school life. In this Early Years Teaching Assistant job you will be taking out small groups for reading support.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have specific school-based experience in a Teaching Assistant job.
- Two previous long term placement references completed
- It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants
