Morning Part-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) - South Gloucestershire BS16 (Supporting SEN Student in Early Years/Reception) Location: South Gloucestershire (BS16) Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) Term Time Only: Monday to Friday, 9AM - 12PM Start Date: 13th January 2024 Five Education is currently seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Part-Time Early Years Teaching Assistant (TAs) to work within a mainstream school in Bath, supporting a 5-year-old student in Reception with additional needs. This challenging role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. Key Responsibilities: - The role will be working 1:1 with a student in the mornings throughout the week. You will provide tailored support to a student with attachment issues and challenging behaviours. - Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. - Provide tailored support during lessons, activities, and potentially break times. - Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. - Support students with communication strategies and interventions to aid their speech and language development. Essential Criteria: - A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs. - Experience working with early years/special education. - The right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorship or skilled worker visas). - Relevant references and DBS/police checks. - Availability to work 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), term time only (9AM - 12PM).
