This school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the student body and is looking for a Teaching Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis. This BS2 school is committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring every child reaches their full potential both developmentally and academically.Your new role:As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant will consist of working 3 days a week. You will be providing 1.1 support for a student with additional needs. You will need to assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons and activities, support this individual student in and outside the classroom, developing social, emotional and academic skills. You will also need to have previous experience working with children that have SEND provisions and needs.Requirements to succeed in your new role:

  • Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
  • Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
  • Previous experience with young SEND children
  • A DBS on the update service is required. This can be done through us here at Hays!
