We looking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team in a school in Southmead. This role offers the opportunity to work with students across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, supporting their learning and development.

About the Role:

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support students both in the classroom and in small group settings. Your duties will vary depending on the needs of the students and the year group, but will include:

  • Classroom Support: Assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning.
  • Small Group Work: Providing additional help to students in small group settings, reinforcing key concepts and supporting individual progress.
  • One-to-One Support: Working with individual students, helping them to achieve specific learning goals and build confidence.
  • Communication: Liaising with the teacher and other professionals to share updates on student progress and any areas for improvement.
  • Welfare Support: Offering support with students' social, emotional, and behavioural needs, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care needs as required, ensuring all students are supported appropriately.
