Your new schoolI am currently recruiting for a specialist SEND Teaching Assistant for a central Bristol primary school. The role is an immediate start and supporting a pupil in KS1. They are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant for this job who can support them for the duration of the assignment on a full-time basis. Your new roleFor this Teaching Assistant job in Bristol, you will be supporting on a 1:1 basis working with a pupil with additional support needs. Some of the support is outside the classroom, so initiative and resourcefulness is necessary. The pupil has characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder, so to be successful in this Teaching Assistant job, experience with SEND support needs is essential.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have specific school-based experience in a Teaching Assistant job.
  • Two previous long term placement references completed
  • It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
