We have a fantastic school located in the Bristol area looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP! This role will require you to support children in their daily learning. You will proactively support the classroom teacher in providing excellent tailored support to all students.

Key Duties:

* You must be comfortable working with children in small groups and 1:1* Demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skills* Look after children's physical, social and emotional wellbeing* Handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding* Work alongside other Teaching Assistants to create an environment for pupils to thrive within

Requirements:

* You will have previous experience working with SEND children ideally, though not essential if you are comfortable giving it a go and have a positive mind-set* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills* You will need to be dedicated to establishing positive relationships with pupils and understanding their needs* Either live in Bristol or within a commutable distance
