A lovely school in Bristol is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role is set to start as soon as possible or at the beginning of the new academic year in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting.
As a Teaching Assistant, your main responsibility will be supporting the class teacher and the classroom. Your duties will vary but will generally include helping prepare lesson materials, listening to students read, assisting with phonics, maths, and literacy lessons, as well as managing classroom behavior. You will also supervise and assist with outdoor lessons, such as PE.
This position offers a great chance to shadow the class teacher and gain a real insight into what it means to be an educator. It's an excellent opportunity to receive advice from experienced professionals in the field.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will bring positivity and the ability to create engaging and fun learning environments to help solidify students' learning. You should be proactive, able to take initiative, and committed to staying for the full academic year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and eager to help students reach their full potential.
You must hold an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one. If you do not have a DBS, we can assist with your application.
Eligibility to work in the UK is required - Sponsorships are not available.
