The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide general classroom support, assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Focus on helping students improve their literacy and numeracy skills.
- Work closely with small groups and 1:1 with pupils to enhance their learning experiences.
- Engage in extracurricular activities, contributing to the wider school community.
- Support Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 classes, depending on your suitability and preference.
- Gain valubale education and training sector experience
- A degree (2:1 or above preferred) recognized in the UK.
- A strong academic background, with at least a C grade in GCSE Maths and English.
- Enthusiasm for education and a proactive, supportive approach to working with children.
- An interest in extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, music, or drama is highly desirable.
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be beneficial.
