FIND are delighted to be working with an Ofsted graded Outstanding training provider to hire multiple Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Tutors.  Due to impressive growth and demand for the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programmes that they offer, our client are looking to hire a number of new Tutors to support the growth of their provision and deliver both the Teaching Assistant Level 3 and 5 courses.  Based from home, the successful candidates will also travel across their local regions to observe learners in their workplace every 2 months, with a remote session planned in between each face to face visit.  This post will holistically plan, co-ordinate, mentor and support on training and assessment for apprentices. Knowledge and experience from working in the schools sector will be shared with apprentices to ensure they achieve their programme at the highest possible level and in a timely fashion. Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps.
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans.
  • Maintain candidate records and perform workplace observations.
  • Deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, to meet awarding body standards.
  • Assess skills and behaviours, providing feedback via the ePortfolio system.
  • Deliver workplace training covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours.
  • Support English and Maths training, ensuring successful completion in collaboration with FS specialists.
  • Provide tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behaviour, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
  • Conduct remote webinars for apprentices.
  • Monitor candidate progress and support portfolio completion and assessments, setting timely completion targets.
  • Provide apprenticeship program information to employers and employees.
  • Collaborate with line managers for reviews and appraisals.
  • Attend CPD, Standardization events, and company conferences in Bristol.
  • Support apprentices and employers in the End Point Assessment process.
Personal Specification
  • Hold a relevant Level 5 qualification or have a minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher or teaching assistant (Essential)
  • Have up to date industry knowledge (Essential)
  • Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications (Essential)
  • Hold a full driving licence, have own vehicle and be willing to travel to customer sites (Essential)
  • Hold an assessor/teaching qualification (Desirable)
  • Hold a relevant degree (Desirable)
  • Hold an IV/IQA qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience of working in schools or a similar environment (Desirable)
