This South Gloucestershire primary are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. The position is available on a long-term basis for the right person. For this Teaching Assistant job they require a dedicated individual with experience working within schools supporting with ASD. Your new role
Whilst working within this Teaching Assistant job you will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day. There is a set timetable that you will follow whilst working through the EHCP. The day could be based within the classroom or out of class at a separate work station. You will keep daily and weekly reports on the progress of the child and report back to both the SENCo and parents.
What you'll need to succeed
- SEND experience is essential within a school setting
- You will have specific school-based experience in a Teaching Assistant job
- Two previous long term placement references completed
