We are seeking an empathetic and compassionate SEN TA to join the nursery department on a part time basis at this Bedminster primary school. You will provide 1:1 support to children with special education needs, providing a supportive and encouraging environment and helping them grow and work through challenges.
About the role:
- Providing support to children with special educational needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Offering a safe and inclusive environment for children
- Assisting the class teacher with day to day duties lessons
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 desired
- Experience with children with special educational needs via work or transferable environements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community
- Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements
- TA qualifications desired but not essential
