JOB – Electrical Design Engineer LOCATION – Bristol TERM – Permanent SALARY – competitive depending on experience  A Bristol based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Proficient with electrical design packages such as AutoCAD & Solidworks.
  • Previous experience designing electrical systems in a similar industry – marine, automotive, water etc.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The Electrical Design Engineer’s responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with other engineers to design & develop electrical systems.
  • Supporting installation & commissioning of systems.
  • Fault finding & troubleshooting.
  • Liaising with departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
