Senior Electrical Engineer Bristol£40,000 - £50,00The companyThere is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a friendly and growing Building Services, Environmental Design and Low Carbon Engineering practice based in the centre of the Bristol. The company are a dynamic practice at the forefront of low energy building design, working in a range of industry sectors and providing high quality, functional and comfortable building with little impact on the environment.What should you expect?
  • Taking a lead on multiple projects at various stages.
  • Lead and supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit
  • Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.
  • Co-ordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Financial management of projects.
  • Monitor progress and taking a leading role supervising graduates and assistants.
What are we looking for?
  • Ideally you will be either, already a chartered engineer or be working towards it.
  • A minimum 5+ years’ experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
  • A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to support/train junior engineers.
  • Able to lead projects with a view to increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Competent in software such as Amtech, Autocad, Revit, IES or Dialux
  • Interest in responding to the climate emergency.
