Your new roleThe role has arisen due to someone retiring, so there is a possibility it could go permanent but cannot be guaranteed at this stage. This is not a delivery-focused role as external providers are utilised for content and delivery. However, on occasion it will be required. You will be the link between the training providers, the organisation, stakeholders and follow up with attendees to support them in embedding the learning/facilitating a community/collaboration as well as sharing insights, tracking ROI and budgets, evaluation, making improvements to the programmes where necessary.The main purpose of the role is to support the Head of Organisational Change and the OD Director in delivering leadership capability programmes as an interim manager for the duration of the post. This post nurtures talent by creating and developing a wide range of capable, high-quality staff who can lead and manage effectively, create conditions for high standards of work and foster an inclusive culture of continuous improvement. - Success in managing and delivering organisational development programmes and systems change.
- Evidence of persuasive and effective communication skills - orally and in writing, including the ability to facilitate learning interventions and chair meetings.
- Able to write board papers which are engaging and persuasive.
- Effective interpersonal skills to implement development and cultural change successfully.
- The ability to quickly establish mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders across the business and at senior level.
- Proficiency in managing a busy workload, quickly responding to emerging or changing priorities.
- Evidence of high levels of emotional intelligence and resilience and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
