About Us:

Founded in 2008, Education People is a highly reputable independent education recruitment agency located near Whiteladies Road in Bristol. We specialise in placing primary, secondary, and SEN teachers, as well as support staff, into schools across the Southwest. Our comprehensive services cover day-to-day, long-term, and permanent contracts. The Role:

We are seeking a recruitment consultant to work alongside our current secondary consultant to expand our established secondary desk. This is a warm desk with longstanding clients and excellent relationships with schools and educators. Your primary responsibility will be to continue growing and developing this desk, leveraging our esteemed reputation to attract new candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the active secondary desk with your collegue by efficiently filling school bookings.

  • Proactively identify and source high-calibre candidates through various channels.

  • Conduct comprehensive screening and interviews of potential candidates.

  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing clients and candidates.

  • Confirm and coordinate bookings with candidates and clients, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Exhibit agility in making decisions and adapting to changes at short notice.

  • Drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and market presence.

  • Working hours 7am to 5pm on a rota basis (7-4, 8-5) on call 1 evening per week and one week end till 8pm.

  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team.
