Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an Engineering and Project Support Specialist on a permanent basis in Bristol.
About the opportunity
Are you an engineer looking for a new challenge? Whether you're just starting out or bring years of experience, we have multiple opportunities available within our growing team.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a background in mechanical, nuclear, or related engineering disciplines to support critical projects in a highly regulated industry. If you have experience in any of the following areas, we'd love to hear from you:
- Layout engineering or project configuration management
- HVAC equipment design engineering and system sizing
- Acting as a technical representative in meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Managing and monitoring contractor deliverables, ensuring readiness for handover
- Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of design changes, tracking progress to closure
- Managing the processing of modifications and reporting on progress
- Performing surveillance and reviews of contractor documentation, including drawings, procurement specifications, and maintenance procedures
- Experience with pressurised water reactors or working in a highly regulated industry
